I'd like to know the house edge on this particular video blackjack variant and what is the best playing strategy in order to earn slot club points while minimizing loss.
The following are the rules as displayed on the machine:

Dealer stands on any 17 or above
Dealer hits on any 16 or less
Dealer stands on 6 cards totaling 21 or less
Player wins on 6 cards totaling 21 or less except against a blackjack
Blackjack pays 2 for 1
Insurance is offered when the dealer shows an ace. Insurance wager equals half of orIginal bet -- odd credit bets round down
Insurance wager pays 3 for 1 on dealer blackjack
Minimum bet for insurance is 2 credits
Surrender is offered on first 2 cards unless dealer shows an ace
Surrender pays up to half of original bet per hand -- odd credits bet round down
Minimum bet for surrender is 2 credits
Double down offered when first 2 cards total only 10 or 11
Double down wager equals original bet
Split is offered when first 2 cards are a pair
Split aces are dealt 1 card to each hand
Split wager equals original bet
All other wins pay 2 for 1 for each hand, bet returned on all pushes
Game uses two 52 card decks

I'm trying to determine if point multiplier days and other casino promotions might make this a winning play, that's why I am asking for help calculating house edge with the stated rules.

The game has like a 3% hold. You are better off playing the video poker games on the same machine.

They game you describe sounds a lot like the one in "Ask the Wizard" #177. See here: https://wizardofodds.com/ask-the-wizard/177/

House edge is 2.39% according to the Wiz. You should be able to find a better return on a different game, like video poker.

The house edge of 2.39 in ask the wizard is for a single deck game. Can you tell me what the house edge is on the 2 deck variant?

Again, according to the Wiz's page on blackjack the move to two decks from one is about -0.3%. So the house edge for the game you described is about 2.7%.
