I'm interested in learning how to count cards, but admittedly I am lazy. About how long does it take one to get competent enough to count up a live blackjack game in a casino setting?
Also, can anyone recommend a simple counting system? (I'm not trying to squeeze out the most edge, just get SOME edge.) I've heard the Knockout system is a good one.

There are some quick and dirty systems for the lazy ... "Speed Count" comes to mind. Also the "Ace/5" system is easy. KO is a full step up from either of those.Quote: nyuhoosierI'm interested in learning how to count cards, but admittedly I am lazy.

You will not make any money with these easy systems, except by good fortune.
