The dealer will win 48%, the player 43% with 9% pushes. This will vary slightly depending on game selection and player skill.

I have always heard that the 1st hand out of a shoe was usually won by the dealer. Some people will not pay that 1st hand and last week a dealer said that he will win 84% of the time on that 1st hand. Does anyone agree with this?

Pay no attention to dealers. They know how to deal the game, and process payouts.

Beyond that, they are pretty much worthless. My dog is more intelligent- but that's why their dealers.
