Man Buys Warhol Sketch for $5 at Las Vegas Garage Sale
By the way, I noticed in Baltimore they call them "yard sales," while California and Nevada usually use "garage sales." How about the middle or the country?

I think that we use "garage sale" more in Colorado, but "yard sale" is equivalent, just not used quite as much. Of course, most of the garage sales take place in the driveway or in the yard.
Estate sales are different, usually held by an independent agent selling stuff that belonged to a deceased person.
