"Big hit" is relative to the stake. My big hit was Thur. Dec. 10, at 1:30PM. I hit the nickel progressive for $463.00 at Joker's Wild. I don't have much to pay so that was huge for me. Earlier in the year I cut up the quarters for tons of RFs, but since then casinos (especially the big ones) tightened the VP machines to the point that the pay table is just a big joke now. The second half of 2009 I hit nickel RFs now and then; I have 24 RFs and goal (just for kicks) is 25 for the year. And yes I do have a lot of time on my hands; it would be nice if I had the money to stay in the casinos longer.
