Walking by the other day and saw a candlestick flashing. Nice hit sir.
Saw him playing $50 (10x5) NSUD this weekend and holding huge gaps like 2 Js 7s and 2 3h 6h. Guess that's why comps are so good.

Just got back from visiting my mother who happens to live only 25 miles from a casino that has some not too crappy video poker games. I had many close calls and several nice hits.

At this casino, its the highest return game. I usually play it either single or triple play. I did venture into 5 and 10 play this trip as well. As for crazy swings, i had 10.2k in w2g's this trip and finished up only $1,700. So, yeah, crazy swings seems like an appropriate adjective.

It's a bartop for dimes though! Better than the Venetian offering 6/5 DDB (94.66%) for quarters at some of their bars...

And speaking of mediocre paytables (97.14% w/STP), g/f got her 2nd Royal this week at River City in St. Louis. Both of her royals have been in Missouri and this year. I have zero royals in my home state...doh!

Traveling through Ohio on friday on the long way back home after going to the Eagles Lions game on thanksgiving. Stumbled upon the Hollywood Casino right before we got on the turnpike. Decided to duck in and avoid the rush hour traffic for those who had to work that day. Thank god we did!
Almost didn't get this one.. debated between holding Qd Ad Jd vs Jd Js and just went for it!

Nice hit, but ouch on that DDB game! Next time there, play Super DDB. Same 8/5 but better pays on quads as seen here.

I really don't see the difference between that and playing a Video game or paying for a movie.
I'll mess around on bad pay tables or even a slot while getting a drink at the bar or sitting with friends.
Most AP's I know will also do this occasionally.
As long as you don't go crazy, as long as you know what your getting into and it's not something you do regularly for long sessions. I played bad pay dice fever (fun game) while picking up $500 in free play yesterday I probably gave up $20 in EV. "free dinner and drinks for me and a friend" not really because a $15 tip. I don't regret playing it.
Hopefully people don't keep returning to the same bad game because it's a "lucky machine".

I've probably done this 3 times in my life with the other 2 happening before I had no clue about strategy. Just got lucky once.

I've done it a handful of times w/3 to a Royal over high pair on 9/6 JoB 10play.
a couple of those times one of the 3cards I kept was a 10.
yeah, It sucked.

I wouldn't expect this from you. I've seen like at least 8 Royals on the net with AT suited over the years on various forums. It seems to get posted more than most 2 card Royals...but maybe it's because I notice. :( I haven't hit any royal from two cards yet.

It was late at night and I know I was playing a bad game but I just thought I would take a shot at a jackpot with 200 bucks. I typically play dollars but this was my first "real " royal in two years so I was happy to take it.
This was at Caesars during my recent March madness trip. The first day was terrible but I managed to scrape back to where I maybe spent 500 bucks on the trip which is very good by my standards lately.
( I am going to have to work on figuring out how to post photos but it was a royal on a 50 Cent shockwave machine with a bad payout schedule)
