1993 I went to Vegas for my 1st solo trip. I was getting killed but still had more than 550 on the table. I got up to hit the mens room. When I came back the other player got up and left. I shoved all in and won. I then finished out the shoe and part of a second and left the table with $2200.00. This was at the Frontier. The next day I went back with 1000 and doubled up. I went across the street to the Desert Inn and doubled up again. I went back 3 months in a row doing the same thing at the 2 casinos and then twice in May. In May lost for the 1st time. The total win was $18,000. The winning streak lasted 12 days.
Life got busy according to my timeline and I didn't gamble again until 2008. I got hit for about 5k in those two weeks. In 2009 I figured what the hay and on the way home from Starved Rock State Park 90 miles west of Chicago, I stopped at the Empress Casino to hit the can. I took 20 bucks to the blackjack table and turned it into 60. Over 3-4 months I would go to the casino every couple of days with 60-150. I would win a little and go home. Over the 3-4 months I won 23 days in a row and the total was about $2800.00. I ran into a lot a strangeness and got to know the action in casinos very well. I lost because of the customer service provided by the dealer. I had 20, the dealer helped the 3rd baseman and the dealer ended up with 21. The casino has since burned, rebuilt and changed to Hollywood.
In 2010/2011 I was working with a guy who was into roulette. We had discussions and I thought about it and worked out this martingale variation I thought I could live with betting only 2nd 12. I won 22 days in a row and lost the day after I put my bankroll in the bank. I didn't have enough money to cover the next bet and the wheel had already hit 14 non 2nd 12 numbers in a row. I went to the ATM, sat down at the Mississippi Stud table in on the 3rd or 4th hand, I hit a 4oak for 2k. The total win was about $3,600 and 22 days long.
The next best winning streak is only 7 days at Rivers, Hollywood playing roulette. Nothing to brag about there but 7 days in a row winning at roulette is a good win.
