I heard it through the grapevine:

* The winner was a 25-year-old cocktail waitress from Green Valley Ranch
* The winning spin was done on $40 worth of free play she was given by the M Casino

Now _THAT_ is some damn good luck!!!

Wasn't there some other LV cocktail waitress who did a similar thing a few years back on Megabucks at the Sahara or Desert Inn, and then ran into a horrible string of personal bad luck?

If that is true I would be surprised. Most casinos in Las Vegas are not allowing freeplay on participation games anymore.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

That site doesn't say it, but my guess might be a WMS network jackpot for "Reel Adventures" slots in Mississippi that includes Clue, Aladdin, Wizard of Oz and other slot games. It stands at $6.68M, every other state that offers it is under $2M.

I took this from the IGT internal website, so it's official that there was a story that she was just using up some coupons. It wasn't specific about if the coupons or winnings from the coupons were responsible for the win. But either way.. Good story!!!

And then there are those who have the same sort of life in a wheel chair but don't have a lottery strike to fund their 24 hour nursing care.
