is that real? can i reallly win 200k or even half of that doing what he just did?

The story seems real enough to me.
The caveats:
He says that he did this during the "second golden age" of online casino promotions. The currently available promotions may not be as juicy.
It takes money to make money. You need a few thousand dollars available to deposit to take advantage of a deposit bonus. You need to assume that it will be tied up for a little while, so hopefully you don't need it for mundane things like gas money or to make another deposit at another casino.

Bonuses and wagering requirements are tighter now, but what he describes is plausible. Not so likely that one could replicate it today.

It's key that he says he did this with four people, so assuming an equal chop, $200,000 becomes $50,000/each.
I think that's on the high end of what I'd consider the range, but perhaps he also bets relatively high on games with some level of variance and also ran extremely well.
I don't think those sorts of results, even when the promotions were better, are particularly likely with a lower-variance grinding strategy, but what he says doesn't seem unreasonable with more aggressive betting.
(Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't go spending that kind of money for a list of bonuses to play.)
I would suggest checking out LCB if bonuses interest you.

Yeah, there are any number of sites that list bonuses, with some being state-specific.
It should also be mentioned that he's not really training you to do anything that you couldn't already learn for free.
For example, if someone posted the T&C's of a particular bonus in a thread here, Wagering Requirements, permitted games, etc...I would give an opinion and mathematical explanation as to the best way to play it (assuming it's +EV at all) for free.
Beyond that, for in-state casinos, the new member promotions rapidly deteriorated compared to 2020, or when they first rolled out, which varies by state.
Could a person win more than $1,499? Sure. Would they probably produce more than that in profits? The math is on their side. However, they'd be paying $1,499 for what they could easily get for free with a little searching and asking questions of people who aren't total scumbags.
Until I tested the limits myself, I had no idea of what was possible. Is there some theorem that defines an upper limit how much money casinos are willing to give away to perceived whales?Quote: OnceDearQuote: Beathecasinos11/r/gambling/comments/189gmsd/i_made_over_200000_via_online_casino_promotions/

I am wondering how much money I left of the table during the post-COVID online promo gold rush. I definitely had preconceived ideas that were horribly wrong in hindsight.
