I noticed that there were a few dealers who incorrectly failed to collect and/or notate the commission on winning bets on the Banker; maybe not every time but some of the time
that was pretty sweet when it happened
anybody else notice this happening?

In Tunica they take commission when they pay you. If you have quarters you can pay with them, if not the dealer will take the commission out of your winnings. I've never seen them miss a payment. I could see how it might get overlooked if you where paying at the end of a session though.

I'm with you on the entertainment value. I watched half of a 1.5 hour video of a guy explaining how much money I will make playing blackjack if I just never hit a stiff hand. Terrible advice!

You'll find that many of these comments are from the many other accounts from the poster of the video. IOW, they're fake.

Indeed, but how else you gonna get this players to visit your website, possibly click on the ads, etc? If there are fools, then there will be a people to exploit them.
