Hi,

I'm fairly new to craps and I recently started playing bubble craps in Vegas. I've tried some betting strategies and read up on optimal play to get the lowest house edge. I was a bit too new to craps to start at a table so that's why I decided to play bubble craps.

Anyway, I've been playing using a progression strategy that gave me some small short term success. But I want to play at a live table. I'm just curious if anyone knows the max for any proposition bets on a crap table at any strip casino. I know the normal max bets are 5k at an average strip casino. I was curious about the center bets. What's the most you can place on one of those bets? Hops, any craps, any 7's etc...

it depends. I think many allow you to win 3X the Max bet allowed. so $15k would be $500 on a 30 to 1 payout
but, this is really up to the casino as they are many times very very very very different in Max bets on props.

whatever you do, do not jinx the Right Way players with your style of play unless you are special and protected.
have fun!

Lol. Yeah. I've heard that playing against the shooter can draw some negative attention. Well I'll have to wait until I can get back to Vegas and see how my luck turns out.

Thanks for the reply.

you did not mention the exact bets you make
but many prop bets slow down the shooter, making them and paying them and such, who may have a point of 5 and money on the 6 and the 8 and really does not like waiting for the dice while the dealers might be paying you on a winning Horn bet or something to that effect.

I get the same thing making lots of Lay bets and more than one shooter has complained right to my face that I should stop making those bets and bet like the rest.

that is loser talk to the max
no argument there

funny

off now and have fun
