Hypothetically speaking, let's say you know that on hand 44 in every baccarat shoe, there is a 100% chance of it being bank or player.

Assuming you have a 25U bank roll.

Would a minor positive progression like (1-2-3-5-7-9-12) work if you'd stop after you lose 8 units and bet 17 units on hand 44 to get atleast a 9U profit.

Or is a negative progression the way to go here (1-2-3-6) and then 13U on hand 44. If you are unfortunate enough hit that 1/16 you'd still leave with a 1u profit.

I know the best strategy would be to not bet at all and just bet hand 44. But let's say you are forced to bet everyhand until you lose 8U with the pos progression and 12U for the negative progression.

Which of these 2 strategies with give the best return in this hypothetical scenario.

Thanks.

Bet 1 unit on banker for hands 1 to 43 and bet whatever you have left on 44.

Interesting scenario. It will take me about 2 hours to write a computer simulation. Can't be stuffed. I think the neg progression is better.
