Card counting in Italy

I'm Italian and here there are only 5 casinos in the whole country. Not sure if counting cards would work in a country like this. If I get backed off from the 3 closest casinos to me I'm kind of screwed.

Perhaps Italian casinos won't pay much attention to card counters, 'cause we don't have a big gambling culture, and betting low might help.

Can anyone who has ever been to a casino in Italy, or is an Italian card counter, share his experience?
