Anybody been to the Re-opened Indian Palms ?

How was it ?

Well I popped in today, walking over from the RIO.

The good news is that it mostly looks like the OLD PALMS inside the NEW PALMS.

Buffet:

We ate at the AYCE buffet for breakfast I would have walked when they said it was $ 24.99 per person, but my wife wanted to go in. We went in. The food was fine, omellette station was very good.

BUT I can only really recommend the buffet to people who really hate long lines ( there was no line when we got there - - I assume due to the price ). The price seems a bit high for an off-strip joint.

Gambling:

We played a bit ( 9/6 Jacks or Better VP at 25 cents denom ) and then walked over to Gold Coast to play their better Deuces Wild.

Tier Match:

They tier matched my Caesars Diamond to their Emerald level, which they said was there second level. I don't know if there is any benefit to being Emerald at the New Palms.
