Gulfport Island View Expands

Well, it's not another casino. But, the 43,000 sq. ft. gaming floor expansion now underway at the Island View casino is as big as some casinos in southern Mississippi. Currently, all gaming at the Island View is on the north side of Highway 90. A few years ago Island View casino renovated a hotel tower, damaged by Hurricane Katrina, located on the south side of Highway 90. The new addition will add gaming to the lower floor(s) of the renovated hotel tower. When complete, the 123,000 sq. ft. casino will be the largest in southern Mississippi.
