Fast forward to 2022 and they were not difficult to find. They were small and didn't advertise much, but there is one right on the Champs Elysees.

Casino is the name of a French supermarket chain. They are in many of the French territories too. I go to one daily when I am in St. Martin.

There was a place in the next town called The Garden City Casino. It was very mysterious, members only and had a huge sign saying no one under 18 admitted. The whole block was surrounded by a very tall privacy fence and it intrigued me no end. It turned out to be a private tennis club.
The older I get, the better I recall things that never happened
