The aim of the game is to achieve a 9 with a minimum of two or a maximum of three cards. Players can bet on either the PLAYER winning, the BANKER winning or a TIE between the two. If the first two cards drawn for the PLAYER or BANKER total a „natural hand“ 8 or 9, no more cards may be drawn. If the total is not 8 or 9, a further card may be drawn in accordance with the drawing rules, i.e.

The fifth card for the PLAYER
The sixth card for the BANKER
If both sides achieve the same total, those betting on a TIE win, in which event the stakes on the PLAYER and BANKER remain unchanged and can be taken back or changed. The croupier is in charge of the game and handles the stakes and winnings.

CARD VALUES
The value of the number cards 2 to 9 is equal to their face value. The 10, Jack, Queen and King count zero (0). Aces count 1. The cards for both sides are drawn face up as follows:

The first and third cards to PLAYER
The second and fourth cards to BANKER
Where the sum of the two/three cards is a double-digit number, 10 is subtracted to leave only the units. E.g:

PLAYER has two cards with a total of:


PLAYER gets a third card, except BANKER stands on 8 or 9.


PLAYER gets no third card.

Neither PLAYER nor BANKER get a third card.


BANKER

When PLAYER stands on a 6 or 7, BANKER will always draw on totals of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, and stand on 6, 7, 8 and 9. When PLAYER does not have a natural, BANKER shall draw on the following rules:

BANKER gets a third card, except PLAYER stands on 8 or 9.


BANKER gets a third card, except PLAYER'S third card is an 8.


BANKER gets a third card only if PLAYER gets 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 as a third card.


BANKER gets a third card only if PLAYER gets 4, 5, 6 or 7 as a third card.


BANKER gets a third card only if PLAYER gets 6 or 7 as a third card.


BANKER gets no third card.


Neither PLAYER nor BANKER get a third card.

If PLAYER takes no third card, BANKER stands on 6. The hand closest to 9 wins. All winning bets are paid even money.
