Has anyone had a chance to swing by and check out this brand new casino that's probably in a really good and unique spot on the east coast? It's about 30 minutes west of Charlotte, and which Charlotte back to growing into a top 15 fastest growing cities in America, this is going to bring in a lot of potential players for a very long time. I predict a lot of money in Raleigh and Greensboro areas will also be making trips down when it becomes a more full fledged thing.
So the weird gimmick they're running is that currently the casino part is up and running in several air conditioned trailers. They've broken or about to break ground with the hotel part of the facility. So right now from looking at photos it looks kind of ridiculous from the inside of the trailers with a wall of slots.
Planning on going in a few weeks just to check it out. No clue what kind of promotions or gimmicks they're going to try running but it should be a fun new experience.

No VP as of yet, stadium style Blackjack/Multihand blackjack/Roulette/Craps/Baccarat/Dai Bac. Supposedly it will have some VP at some point according to the casino reps I asked. Points/status seem to be pretty useless at this point, though there are other casino's that are a part of the "lucky north club."

Place sucks right now. Will be better when they have a non trailer casino.

Most places usually put up a gigantic circus type tent as a temporary casino. Probably not wise to do if the area has any tornadoes

the soon-to-be Hard Rock Casino in Bristol VA, temporarily operating as Bristol Casino, quickly converted a portion of the defunct mall they are converting. Pretty smart, but 2 Kings presumably did not have that option

There are several separate Hard Rock players programs that do not interoperate. HR AC, HR Tahoe, and HR Tampa Bay are all separate -- no cross comps. You might be able to use a premium card from another Hard Rock to get an upgrade from the players club.
