Would definitely be interested to hear reviews. I had a host from there reach out to me about booking a stay.

[I left this in the Blackjack forum late yesterday. Based on a casual walkabout and an hour or so at a couple of BJ tables.]
Opening day.
All $10-15 tables are 6-5, H17, no surrender, no insurance, CSM. Maybe 10-15 tables total
$25 tables are 6-deck, S17, Surrender, insurance, ASM. Maybe 5-10 tables total.
$50 tables were like the $25s, only NMSE. But they lowered limit on at least one $50 to $25, but NMSE stayed in effect, whereas on the ones that started $25, there was no NMSE restriction.
Never played at a NMSE table, and today if you wanted to sit out a hand you were done for that shoe - you could not come back in. Is that how NMSE works? Would make sense if they don't want wonging-in in midshoe they would not want wonging-out on a negative count.
Usual selection of carnival and asian games. Didn't really notice since my interest is only blackjack.
Soda machines on the walls. Waitresses with free drinks at the tables - at least at $25 and $50.
The place was shoulder-to-shoulder from the moment they opened the doors. Forget restaurants or any kind of food. Lines were outrageous.
I can only imagine what Foxwoods, Twin River and Mohegan were like. Ghost towns?

It was business as usual at Mohegan Sun. I walked by the pit at Bow & Arrow shorltly after midnight last night. The 6:5 $10 tables were full. I pointed out the 6:5 blackjack payout to Mrs. Chips and commented on how much of a bad deal that was. A player, looked to be in his 20’s, turned to us and said with a big smile, “we know it’s a bad deal.” Also, stadium-style game seats were about all taken. Craps tables full. Carnival game tables well attended. Nope, certainly not a ghost town.Quote: racquet... I can only imagine what Foxwoods, Twin River and Mohegan were like. Ghost towns?

Business at Mohegan this afternoon (3-5 PM) seemed less than usual, although that's a wildly subjective view.
Wind Casino remains closed, whereas in the recent past (pre- 6:5 and eight decks) my recollection was at least the first pit was open on Sunday mornings - left over from Saturday night. I heard that the poker room will be moving to the Earth casino, so maybe they turn the Wind into a food court and outlet stores.
