Its a bit too complex for me to analyze particularly since I don't really play slot machines unless I'm with someone who enjoys them.
The Victory is a ship operating out of Cape Canaveral and has various promotions involving 10x points, alcohol specials, entertainment specials and 55 or over specials.
The REBATE program is as follows:
Slot Win or Your Money Back Weekend - Guaranteed slot win or your money back!
Be sure to use your players card in every slot machine you play on Friday, July 22nd, Saturday, July 23rd and Sunday, July 24th on our AM or PM cruises. Victory Casino will RETURN 100% of all losses with a minimum of $100 up to $1,500.
Your play will be tracked on Friday, July 22nd, Saturday, July 23rd and Sunday, July 24th and you will be returned the cumulative losses from all 6 sails.
The losses will be returned in Free Slot Play in 3 increments. You must return on Wednesday, August 24th, Tuesday, September 20th and Thursday, October 27th to receive 100% back!
You may come on any one of those cruises and receive 33% of your losses but must sail all 3 for the 100% return slots.
There are various boarding fees, buffet fees, etc, but there are discount programs and there are a few hotel/casino discount tie-ins and free parking/free bus pickup and delivery options.
Please note: it is a rebate in the form of free play, not cash. And the limit appears to 1500 in losses, which would mean a maximum of 1500 in free play for being present on all cruises.
Its not for me, but .... if you play slots you might want to at least know about it.
Quote: GWAEThat would take sone serious discipline. I am not sure I could collect 500 on free play and be stuck on a ship for 3 more hours and not play anything.
Stuck is a relative term. Bottom deck has a sports bar with half a dozen tv's you can watch. Ship parallels the shore at 3 miles so most people have phone/internet. 4th deck bar has either dj or live music going. Fan deck has a bar with tv's . Places to sit indoor and out without having to play. And most all table games including craps and roulette are $5 minimums. Soft drinks are free, alcohol free during gaming while you play, cheaper than most otherwise. Buffet during 1st part of cruise, surprisingly good bar food all cruise.
This is a promo they run 1-2 x a year. I think very highly of them and would recommend the Canaveral boat. Not familiar with the Jax boat, but it's smaller with less amenities, I'm told.

Just enjoy the boat ride on deck assuming the weather is nice.
How many people you think go on it per day on average?
Quote: WizardofnothingDo they have mail offers on that cruise babs?

There are offers on top of that, either match at or fp you've earned. There are package deals that get you fp to cancel out the boarding fee and make the buffet cheaper, even if you haven't gone before.
Weekday average 600-700 per cruise, weekends 800-1000. Days are more slot playing seniors, eve's more table heavy but about even slots/table. Weekends young party crowd.
There are 32 tables, about 1/2 3:2 bj, 3 craps 345x, 3 00 roulette, 2 uth, 2 3cp, minibacc, 2lir, rest bj.
Need to be careful about pickpockets and dips, especially getting off. Crowded on the gang plank exiting.
About 800-900 slots and 150 vp on board. VP denoms .05 to 1.00, mostly .25. Slots mostly .01, but up to 5.00. Nice mix of older machines, maybe 100 new gen.
I've heard rumors about pick pockets but think that was mostly in the past when they used to run a promotion involving women from strip clubs in town and your boarding pass being later valid as free entry to any of the strip clubs in town. It was an unwise promotion and drew too much of the wrong crowd so they stopped doing it and started doing a more orderly disembarkation process. Even though I've not heard of any recent problems, I still would not be among the early disembarkation crush but would hang back a bit.
Be advised. You can take uncashed Checques with you but the Cashier's Office closes once they cross back into US waters.
Didn't do the buffet this time, did the day cruise, got a breakfast sandwich on the way out of port, was OK.
Why the day cruise? Was not the plan but the weather was not cooperative with doing a full day fishing trip and an evening Victory cruise.
Rode the bus down from Daytona, $10 round trip, except no one ever checked to see if I payed my $10, could have done it for free ;-)
I raised hell the last trip on this ship/boat because I had inquired to customer service by phone the table limits for BJ in advance of booking the trip. Promised $10 min/$1000 max BJ. NOT!! Was $10 min/$500 max and I had a hissy fit onboard ;-) After quite a while of cussing and complaining, all to no avail, I found a $5min/$500 max table and had one of those 'Ah Ha' moments. I can play this, and I did. I won a few hundy, was never up as much as 1K, but attracted alot of attention from the pit ;-) That was a year ago...
This year I sailed again expecting to find the same. NOT!
Now $10min/$200 max, and $5min/$200 max, $25min/$500 max.
I threw up over the rail before we even left port. If I'd have been in my own car I would have dis-embarked and driven back to Daytona. But I was on the freakin' bus!
So I played at the $5 table, with the BJ gods seriously angry at me for reasons I do not understand, and lost $1605 on a three hour cruise. The Gilligan's island song kept running thru my head, over and over.....
Bet the table max 12 times during the session, lost 9 of them, geez Louise....
I'm going to be back in Canaveral in a couple months for a weeklong cruise. Might schedule an exta day to go fishing. Not going to plan a Victory trip while in the neighborhood.
BTW, I invited BABBs to join me on this most recent Victory trip. Didn't fit her schedule. So I am now blaming my loss on her, the cards would have been different if she had been sitting in that empty seat. Everybody else blames her for all that's wrong in the world, don't they ;-?

Wow... despite the 9 out of 12 loss we still admire your courage. That is 75 percent by the way, said Fleastiff showing off his new found arithmetic skills.
Well, everyone ... as I said in the initial post it started on the 22nd and was simply too complex for me to understand, so if anyone wanted the rebate program, at least they knew about it.
Thanks for your comments.
You gotta seriously get up on the wrong side of the bed to lose $1600 at a $5 table on a three hour cruise ;-(Quote: FleaStiffWow... despite the 9 out of 12 loss we still admire your courage. That is 75 percent by the way, said Fleastiff showing off his new found arithmetic skills.

I probably should have noted before that I lost the first seven of those table max bets in a freakin' row! 0-7 is minus 100%, just to help you calibrate your newfound math skills ;-) So won 3 out of 5 toward the end, whhooopppee effing do, the session was shot, was shot early....
If it had been a six hour cruise I prolly could have gotten even. I'm an optimist!
I suspect had I just flat bet $25 a hand, stood on the first two cards irregardless of the dealer's up card, that I couldn't have done any worse.....
You should just stay in bed some days. Picking those days correctly is the trick. If I perfect a system for that I will post it here 1st!
If you lost $1500, you leave and come back and run through $500 in august; I can usually turn slot play into 54-72% cash just running through it until I get cash then converting it to a cash receipt (so I only lose points, and win cash.) Video poker I'm actually better than even for, but I just play for turning points to cash. So, it's more like a 63% loss rebate which if it's a 3% hold and 30 sd, would be a 330 expectation over 4 days on $1500 risk. What do you do if down $500 with an hour to go, Increase the number of lines; since $5 slots are more appropriate than $25 slots or $100 slots (not sure if Victory has those.) I'd do 3 lines on $5 slots the whole time, since it gives you enough trials in a session. If you lose $1500, then you'll probably convert enough to cash to equate to a 54-72% loss rebate (give or take, you could hit a jack pot on any day or lose control or forget to come back all 3 times. Etc.) I'd like to see a 10% loss rebate, 100 promo chip and free cruise on a $2k buy in for table games players. I hate slots, I only played once when it was free money and not valid on VP.
I just found this, here is the info you want!
