Also nice to see Mt. Airy make the short list... It's a nice little casino and property.

As much as I love The Borgata, this mystifies me. The Big B is pretty good, but the pool area isn’t very nice; it is small, crowded, and right by the road. Every high end property on The Strip is nicer. I can see it a little better if you count The Water Club, but that is like adding Palazzo and Venetian, or Wynn and Encore. And then you’re back to the same comparison.

Mt. Airy? Mt. Airy has more smoke than Franklin BBQ, slots that pay back about 85%, no good VP, and it is crowded and loud. Its upscale casual restaurant is a Guy Fieri joint. The blackjack is good, but that’s state law. It was voted best casino in PA by Casino Player. I prefer Sands and Rivers, I guess I am immune to its charms.
