Opening day? I'm betting there won't be a 3:2 table under $25. Probably higher to actually find a seat.
After? Probably $10-15 off peak, $15-25 peak for a H17 8 deck 3:2 table. That's my gut based on CET and Borgata.

I saw that. Good for them! Maybe they're going to go for 'the best gamble in town' play. If so, they should be applauded.

On the opposite end of this, Tropicana who had zero 6 to 5 tables (was only them and Borgata holding out with exclusively 3 to 2 payouts on natuals) has now changed all of their lower limit tables to crapjack. Only Pit 1 and the higher limit tables outside of Pit 1 are still 3 to 2 as of last weekend.

I've always wondered why one of the AC joints doesn't try this...

Ocean could attract everyone with the nicest rooms in town (which they have), attract the kids and party crowd with the pools and clubs (which they have), and bring in more of the gamblers with slightly better game rules, VP paytables, higher slot returns, etc...

1000% agree. Heck, who knows, maybe they are going for this!

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has announced the grand opening events for their nightlife venue, Daer Nightclub. Thursday night's party will be hosted by Michael B. Jordan. Friday night, world renowned DJ, Tiësto will appear. Saturday night, the fun is hosted by Ludacris with music by DJ Tur.

Tickets for Thursday and Saturday night begin at $25. Friday night tickets begin at $65. I'll be there Friday night if anyone wants to meet for a beer. (By the way, hosts are able to comp tickets to nightlife events at Daer.)

Ocean Resort Casino allowed media in for a tour of the property. The Press of Atlantic City posted 79 pictures on their website to accompany the article. You can find that here. I forgot just how impressive the property is. AOS, by the looks of the photos, the Ultra Lounge is back - bigger and better. They've got rid of the all the couches in front of the bar and put in more gaming tables. It almost looks a little too cramped, but I love they kept the wood floors. There was something about losing my ass off at a table and being able to see the sunrise over the ocean that took some of the sting away.

The couches were gone during the final month or so of Revel as well
