What's even more notable is that the Press of Atlantic City is not even linking to the tape in the two articles that it has run so far. What is wrong with the world? Do you know what's worse than an evil person? Someone who's willing to stand by and watch. In my eyes they're just as guilty, if not more, than the person doing something wrong.

I would listen to the facts and whatever extenuating circumstances the Public Defender offers, but I don't think the PD would want me on the jury. I would want to see the maximum sentence on this one.

Whats the under/ over on time he will be sentenced to ? Sad to say, I pick time served, assuming he can't make bail. Probably get ROR anyway.

Saw this in the Daily News today. Seems he got into a "scuffle" with the police officer while in booking. (article said he lunged at the police officer) What an idiot, I hope they get him real good, probably has a rap sheet a mile long.

Is it just me or does the mug shot look like a different guy from the video? The article has the two images side by side and it don't look like the guy.
The article says an officer recognized the guy walking on the street. I would really hope this isn't a case of mistaken identity.

My concern is the victim is a homeless woman who signed herself out of the hospital. If she can't be found to testify in court you will probably see the charges for assaulting the woman plea bargained to a lesser charge with no jail time. Hopefully he gets some jail time for assaulting the corrections officer.

I believe with video evidence (including the on-camera confession of why he did it) the DA doesn't need the homeless woman to testify. It becomes a state versus the defendant case.

Hey Darkoz, you make a good criminal defense attorney:-) I give you some credit for defending him:-)
I'm sure this isn't a case of mistaken identity. All 3 "prints" on photos do match up exactly. Please compare the curving outlines of his eyes, noses, and lips. What do you think now?
I'm OK with Corps which pick and choose clienteles. Both insurance companies and casinos have the right to pick and choose customers. They may keep profitable ones and kicked out the rest. But, I'm not OK with a casino supervisor who says counting cards... is like stealing food from a buffet (a foodlifting offense), or video-taping a movie in a cinema (a piracy offense).

I froze a frame in the video with the guys mouth open and he has a hugely distinctive crooked gap between his top front teeth.
I wish the mug shot had the mouth open but it is so distinctive I am certain he will be ID'd (or let go) based on this alone.
It probably is him. I just saw the photos for a moment and they didn't strike me as obviously the same guy. I hope it is so they can put this guy away.
