They were very helpful in helping me know where to go for my first visit to AC. My friends and I usually like to stay on the boardwalk, so we didn't go to Borgata, but we found $5 craps tables with 5x odds and $10 blackjack with dealer hitting on S17, no surrender quite abundant and they were more than good enough for us.
Now I have a couple of other questions, does anyone know if there are low stakes single deck blackjack and baccarat games, especially on the weekends? I never thought I'd play single deck blackjack in my life since the stakes are generally high, but last I visited I actually saw a $10 single deck blackjack game I think, but I couldn't play it since I hadn't memorized the strategy. Does anyone know where to find them? Also do $20 or less mini-baccarat games exist?
Lastly just out of curiosity, does anyone know if there are decent video poker games these days? I've found it hard to find 9/6 payouts on Jacks or better, and hard to find Deuces Wild games at all. Thanks!
But I do want to point out that any single deck low limit blackjack (or any single deck blackjack for that matter) will be 6:5, not the standard (or what should still be standard) 3:2. This means a $10 blackjack will win you $12, rather than $15. This increases the house advantage by more than 4 times from less than .5% up towards 2%.

Really!?
I can only imagine the "counter trap" that must be. :/
Even as a "counter trap" that's hard to believe, as the Empire was the one's who started the whole 6:5 experience.
Everything on the east coast is 8 deck, 6 deck of you're lucky, 2 deck no way, 1 deck haha r u srs?
Never play 6:5 blackjack, even if it's single deck.

Half of Harrah's 8 deck games are 6:5. I've never seen the single deck there at 3:2. Taj has single deck and you guessed it - 6:5.

I can't speak for recently, but in February they had one single deck pitch game paying 3-2. It started at $10 and went up to $15.
All the 8 deck $10 games were 6-5.
Also does anyone have experience with mini-baccarat?

I'll have to echo Kewlj's response of Really?...I've been to Harrahs a hundred times in the last 2 or 3 years. They always have 1 or 2 SD tables but they've always payed 6:5. There is no 3:2 SD in AC anywhere, that I've seen in the last 12 years or so.
As for the OP's question about low limit. There are $10 games all over town at this point. But they all use 8deck and hit soft 17. Most of them pay 3:2 still, but if you are there on the weekend beware the party pits. They all pay 6:5. Not worth it unless the eye candy is really important to you. The most action for low limit is probably the Trop. Lots of $10 tables on the weekend. Harrah's has bunch too. Resorts, and the Taj have a few. Bally's and Caesars not as many. But it varies a lot based on day of the week and time of day. If you walk around you can usually find plenty of low limit games.

There are three S17 tables at Resorts. They always start at $10 minimums and don't increase that often on weekdays. Many times I've seen them at $10 on a Saturday before the traffic increases. They are right across from the high limit pit. If you sat at one of them your back would be to the high limit pit.
I pay very close attention to the tables in AC. I have to because the poor games offered will not get me to sit unless I spot other opportunities. Eight deck, no surrender - no thanks! I'm confidant that I have never seen a 3 to 2 single deck game at Harrah's. Remember, this is the place with 6 to 5 eight deck games.

Ahh yes...Two things; I'm very familiar with the three S17 at resorts, but when I'm there...they are always $25. If they are lower limits sometimes it must be while I'm asleep :)
I'm glad you agree with me about Harrah's I've never seen that 3:2 SD game either, and you're right. They do have more 6:5 tables than most of the other places in town. Which are mostly in Party pits, or SD games.
What about the best low stakes games with good rules? I know Borgata basically beats all, but on the boardwalk, which casinos give the best $10 S17 games with the best penetration, hopefully with surrender? And if it doesn't exist, the best $25 games? Thanks.
The poster that asked about S17 $10 games, I wish you luck; they're all going to be H17 at the $10 level I'm afraid.

Thanks, what about $25 S17? Where to find the best penetration for that? And can you surrender?
Bally's has a 6 deck $25 S17 game with no mid-shoe. That's the best game on the boardwalk probably. There are only two or three of the 6 deck tables the rest are 8 deck like most of AC...it's clearly marked with a black sign that advertises 6-Deck. Also across from the high limit room.
Surrender in AC is as elusive as the white whale. You have to be a whale to get it, mostly. GN will sometimes do it on request but everyone at the table has to agree in advance, from what I hear. Also it helps it you are a black chip player. Aceofspades, I believe, would know more about surrender in AC. But the short answer to, is surrender available? is no.
