So far-- he bought the Revel (and Showboat), is re-working the stuff with the tenants and power company, and looking to invest even more in A.C. at a time when apparently no one else is.
People should be cheering for him.

Probably a +EV bet. If it works you win. If it doesn't you are already dead.

I don't even know where to start. I'm all for alternative medicine but this is just crazy. When you start talking blood transfusions you enter a whole other dimension. I can handle the cryogenic shit, the vitamins, the O2 bars, etc. but when you promote transfusions especially administered by those who "might not be a doctor or clinician" it sets the stage for catastrophic adverse events. But people will do it, especially when touted by the PT Barnum of the decade. It wouldn't surprise me if he had a room with windows putting those "patients' on display for all to see on the boardwalk, kind of like a side show.....and charge to watch...

They used to put freaks and fetuses on display in windows on Boardwalk.
The interesting thing about that article was the picture of the patients on boardwalk looking out onto ocean, now you can't even see beach from boardwalk. It's dumbfounding how they closed off what the shore is all about.
Quote: ECoasterA long and interesting article... Straub certainly seems eccentric and likes to talk about whatever's on his mind, but no doubt he knows his real estate.

This arena was sold in a public auction in 2004 to Glenn Straub - cheers?

Well it is crazy. It actually may work, business wise, cause as you point out the population is aging. But that doesn't mean it's not crazy.
This guys a nut...though I must admit I'm anxious to see what he has in store for us next. If it was my 90 million I would be trying to hire some good people and you know...OPEN THE FREAKIN CASINO & HOTEL. But clearly I don't have the vision that Mr. Straub has.
