-- Parking on Harrah's parking deck roof and seeing Revel in the distance it boggled my mind that it has turned into such a circus

-- the Check in line for Harrahs was insanely long at 3:30

-- An older guy was hanging by the valet. He made eye contact with me and two buddies and offered us his suite. I never saw anyone hustling rooms there before.

-- my room in the BayviewTower was spotlessly clean

-- open 6:5 BJ tables outnumbered open 3:2 BJ tables. Carnival games outnumbered all of BJ tables. The dopes flocked to 6:5 games.

-- Counting cards in a 8 deck game is not worth the effort for a recreational player

-- The four open craps tables were packed.

-- having a diamond card is nice. a platinum is now virtually worthless.

-- some people dress like they are painting a ceiling when they go to the casino. They should have some pride. Visibly Dirty stained clothing is not appropriate for going out in public

--no matter how "good" a buffet is I prefer a sit down experience, by far,

-- I do not get the appeal of crab legs. People pile them on plates then it is a whole ordeal foe a tiny amount of crab. That is not for me.

-- I walked through the pool area. A lot of people there. Many are seniors. Definitely not for me. The idea of jumping in a hot tube with strangers is not appealing to me.

-- x-bar has loads of prostitutes at night

-- all staff I encountered were professional and friendly

-- 5x comps on Thursdays in March

-- floorman generally enter early betting action in computer and ther go on to other thing. They rarely update.

-- so many players do not tip. That is wrong

-- Sammy D has a very long line on Friday morning.

- The bagel place on 30w is pretty good. I think it is called Ultimate Bagels or something like that

Never been to AC. No particular reason, just haven't gotten a round tuit.
There's emptiness behind their eyes There's dust in all their hearts They just want to steal us all and take us all apart

Sounds like mostly good news. Thanks for the TR; I haven't been there since 2009, I think, and was wondering whether it had gone up or down. Sounds like up at least a little.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

I love guys like that. Just bet big starting out and then go down to 20%-40% of your original bet and still get comped high. Fun.

Hey Scan and Guys, have you received free gifts from Harrah's since yesterday?

I did.

Free chocolates in red packets!
I'm OK with Corps which pick and choose clienteles. Both insurance companies and casinos have the right to pick and choose customers. They may keep profitable ones and kicked out the rest. But, I'm not OK with a casino supervisor who says counting cards... is like stealing food from a buffet (a foodlifting offense), or video-taping a movie in a cinema (a piracy offense).

I was there also on Feb. 19

I always valet park and they are always great.

I have seen the check in line literally out the front door depending on day. Diamond line is always short and sweet.

Bayview, Waterfront and Atrium Suites always spotless.

Don't play table games, but they were all packed. VP Gods were very kind to me Thursday.

The dress code is non existent in AC.

The buffet is ok if its free, but expect to see all types, see above post.

x-bar has loads of prostitutes at night, yes it does.

all staff I encountered were professional and friendly, always found this to be true.

5x comps on Thursdays in March and shows

Jody Watley was playing Thursday, still very popular I guess and late night swim on Thursdays brings in a bigger crowd.

Diamond lounge is always packed. Took me some time but figured out why. Most patrons have their coats with them. These are locals who visit the DL on a daily basis to get their fill of free food and drink and also to fill their Tupperware containers.

I was at Harrah's the 16th and 17th. What's going on with those 6:5 tables? People are stupid enough to play them and can't walk anywhere else I guess. Even Caesars had all 3:2 tables.

Sammy D's was a good time Sunday night....Flying Fish tap takeover at the bar. However, I didn't get Tier credits for either Sammy Ds or Caesars buffet. TR email has been down for 4 days so I can't even email to inquire.

Other thoughts from my trip:

- Resorts is actually a great place to play. Best beverage service I ever had in AC. Friendly staff.

- Borgata had some horrendous players at the blackjack tables. Someone split 10s.

- Maria's Luncheonette is a fantastic breakfast/lunch spot outside of the casinos.

- Tony's Baltimore Grill was great.

Hmmm it's like you are in my head.

I love the cocktail service at Resorts. They actuallty seem glad you are there and are grateful for the tips.

I don't know what it is about Borgata. But the 3 or 4 dumbest BJ players I've ever seen have been there, and I don't play there much.

Never heard of Maria's....and it's hard to stump me when it comes to AC restaurants. Where is it? Details?

Tony's Baltimore Grill has amazing Pizza. But the atmosphere leaves a little to be desired...think Grandmas basement circa 1975. I try to eat in the bar if I can. At least a bar is supposed to be dark and dank.

Maria's is a block up from Boardwalk Hall at 2319 Atlantic. Small little diner type place, seating for maybe 30? Great for pancakes, french toast, brunch type dishes too. One cook. I imagine it would be a long wait in the summer months, but now is a great time to go.

It's better late than never. I wish I know about the luncheonette when I camped out in Plaza for years. I could walk over for a good meal for 7 bucks.
