Any info on the casinos there?
Also, recommendations on a decent cheap hotel (solo male) that's not a hostel that's central to these casinos and/or tourist spots.
Thx

Went higher end than what i usually pay for.
Booked a $225/night Holiday Inn (awesome breakfast included) then moving to a $150/night Wydham (no breakfast) for 7 days.
Could have booked a $100/night hotel with great ratings but it's a 10min walk to any public transportation. From my experience in Vietnam, I don't want my shirt soaked in sweat. (Singapore is also a very humid country)
Will be there in Nov.
Hopefully i'll find some slots i'd like to play (unlike New Zealand/Australia where i didn't)
I took the train:

The stop let's you out in an underground mall. Follow the signs to casino. It'll lead you to here:

You need both passport and Singapore Arrival Card (I used the app).
Use the Foreigner entrance. Locals have to pay 3000sgd for 1 year. Foreigners have free admission.
There are 2 checkpoints before reaching the main checkpoint.
Plus another person before any checkpoint if all you have is the barcode from the app.
That person scans the barcode to pull up your Arrival Card info.
Then you take a pic of that info right off his tablet.
Then show both passport and that pic.
Very cumbersome process.
Casino is modern and huge.
Since it's a Sands casino, there's Triple Zero roulette. :(
and it's near at the entrance, of course.
No uth. Instead there Bonus Hold'em.
Lots of Sic Bo. There's also Pontoon blackjack.
No craps but I'm not looking that hard at the tables. (Big long table could also be roulette from a distance)
For slots, wilds don't stay on the screen for some games.
Very few vulturable games. No must hits or accumulator slots.
Also, no ATMs in the casino!
You have to leave the casino to withdraw $
Why does this woman have so many passports??

Water bottle bot:

You need to show your Arrival Card again to exit?!?

There are 3 floors:
1st: smoking
2nd: non-smoking
3rd: vip. You need to swipe your players card to get in and there's a guard at door. Since I didn't have a players card yet, I didn't go for a closer look

Why does this woman have so many passports??
Probably her and her family's passports. Could also be just a couple people with multiple citizenships.

Just like mbs casino, you have to show passport and Singapore Arrival Card but only 1 checkpoint.
Their rewards program isn't linked to the casinos in USA.
Also like Sands, the casino is HUGE.
It only has 2 floors but the main floor is as large as the 2 non-vip floors of Sands combined.
You need to be a vip to enter the casino on the 2nd floor. (At the manned desk, Facial recognition said I wasn't allowed in)
And Like Sands, They also have Triple Zero roulette but instead of 000, they have the RW symbol.
Didn't see any craps table. Lots of Sic Bo. No uth but had Bonus Hold'em. Also had Pontoon blackjack.
The front part of the casino (entrance) is non-smoking. The rear is the enclosed smoking section.
Another similarity to Sands is the lack of must hits and accumulator slots.
And even less vulturable machines.
Also for both casinos, no VP.
Unlike Sands, no Coke zero at the free dispensers. And no water bottle bot.
They do have free fruit infused water at various tables.
Universal Studios is in the same complex as this casino.
I'm probably going to check it out.
Based on my observations, payback seems worse than that of a cruise ship. The few bonus games I've witnessed had horrible payouts.
Protip:
If taking public transportation, take Grab (equivalent of Uber) to go there because you have to switch from the the public subway (MRT) to private monorail ($4) to get to the casino.
It's not that much more to take Grab and it's more convenient.
But The monorail is free when leaving!
So take that + MRT when leaving
2 craps tables by the cashier cage.
And it looks like they're creating a new tables pit area near the wall by the foreigner exit side of main entrance including 3 craps tables. (Felt looks brand new.)
50sgd minimum, 3/4/5x odds
Field 12 only pays double :(

If you pay some with comps and the rest with cash, you'll get charged the higher cash rate.
Higher rate probably because of tax.
Items:
Fruit juice dispenser (apple and pineapple when I was there for lunch), Small salad bar, 3 veggie dishes, 3 meat dishes, made to order noodles, 2 soups, various precut fruits and 3 desserts.
Lunch wasnt bad for the price.
Maybe dinner will be better?

New member promo at Resorts World is $10 food voucher. You have to print it out at kíosk. The cashier can't just swipe your card to deduct $10.
Voucher expires in 6 days.

Update 4/2026
Sands Triple zero

There is now UTH but $50 minimum at 4pm Thursday. :o
Trips 8/7/4 (~3% HE), didn't see what the minimum was.
I only saw 2 tables (1 was closed) vs 5 for Bonus Holdem (2 were closed)
At least 3 craps tables ($25 min):
4/10: 2 to 1, 5/9: 3 to 2?, 6/8: 6:5
So less than 2x odds. :(
Someone calc the HE?
(Didn't check the place bets)
Slots are similar to what I saw 3yrs ago.
Wilds do not stick.
Coin in per tier pt differs for each machine.
Lost $300 at 1 machine and only got 2 pts.
~$360 coin in per pt @ Wheel of prosperity (tiger).
Last time I was here, I went up to the 2nd tier level card (at least 88 pts).
I don't think i put $32k coin in but then again, the machines I played back then could have had lower coin in per pt.
They are planning a 4th MBS tower at an estimated cost of $8B Sg ($6B usd). Completion in 2031.
The original 3 towers were total $5.5B Sg in 2010.
They are also planning to tear down the golf course next to MBS for housing (affordable/subsidized/public?).

I wouldn't say cheap:

(On the table at the hotpot place)
Then again, I didn't see a price for hotpot nor did I go in and ask
