Pai Gow 3 Pair Fortune Bonus
Does anyone know the math on the Fortune Bonus bet if 3 pair were to push if the player bet at least $5?I saw in Q&A on Wizard of Odds were the player was paid 1:1 on 3 pair but not if it were a push on the Fortune bet. I think it would be a great way for the Casino to take advantage of the extremely low win %. Especially if the player was required to play at least $5 for the push to take effect. So anyone playing $1 to $4 would still lose the Fortune bonus bet on 3 pair.
What are your thoughts?

That has about an 8% edge.
In Minnesota, 3 pair pushes at Canterbury Park. There, they use a paytable similar to #7, but with 3 pair pushing. I think they have to get the edge under 5%, and that comes in at about 4.9% house edge.
Crap! Premature post & I can't edit a blog comment. I think this is a good way to go. It depends a little on how it's paid for. If the 5 aces and 7 card straight flushes are short-paid to pay for it, I think it's great. If the straight flush and royal are short-paid, I think this is less attractive.
