Need some advice, seven players each receive one card and one card to the house. What are the odds of an individual player's card tying with the house card (same face value). 8 deck's

416 cards in the deck, 32 of each face value. If you have one card of a given value, there are 31 left that the dealer could have in the remaining 415 cards. 31/415 = 7.47%, or just slightly less than 1 in 13 (as you'd expect).

If you can see the other players' cards, the answer depends on how many of your value are in the other hands.
