I'm struggling to understand the explanation of the house edge per roll given on the WOD site. I'd provide a link but I'm too new. Just google, "Average bet resolved per throw in craps".

Why is there only mention of the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10? Before a point is established, wouldn't the bet be resolved on a 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12? It seems the only dice rolls that are being counted are after a point has been set and until that point is hit or a 7 is rolled. If that's the case, why aren't any of the rolls before the point is set counting?
