One question on Miss. Stud strategy, which I know by heart. With 4 cards (unsuited) and deciding what to bet on 5th St. you say 3x to an outside straight at least 8 high and 1x any other straight draw. Is A,K,Q,J considered an outside straight draw? I assume the answer is no. If I assume correctly, I feel like there needs to be one more provision in the 4 card strategy. I'd appreciate any feedback.

I'm not an expert in the particular game you're inquiring about, but your premise sounds correct.

The actual experts may take a while to respond, as they do things on their own schedules. It is not uncommon for a good question to take between 4 and 48 hours to get a good answer. It is usually worth the wait.
May the cards fall in your favor.

AKQJ is indeed considered an inside straight draw, because, of course, there is only one rank and 4 outs to a straight.

I get that the EV of the last draw is negative EV= -0.0833, so you should bet the minimum possible, i.e, one unit.

There are 48 cards left in the deck. Here is the paytable specific to the last bet decision of 1X vs 3X bet.
Outcome Combinations Payout
Straight 4 +4
High Pair 12 +1
Lose 32 -1

Clearly (-1)*32 +4*4+12*1 = - 4 which is a negative return. So, 1X bet is preferred to 3X bet.

Thus, the strategy rules on the Miss Stud WOO page appear to me to be correct.
