Combo bet Field-Pass=Don't Pass Progressive Odds

Hey all. First, thanks wiz for making craps my new itch, lol. Love the videos, website, discussions, other players, and especially the practice table. So, I've done a lot of You Tubing, looking for (I know I know) the magic system to get the edge. What I've come up with seems to work but I don't know the math behind it and before i commit $10,000 hard earned bucks to bank roll my hunch, I'm wondering if one of you brainiacs out there can shed some light to either the futility of my endeavor or what the odds really are and if it's better than the best odds bet on the table. Here goes.

I bet a series of pass/no pass bets progressing as per a video I saw on You tube. You bet 5 on each line. Roll. until one wins, and one loses. The one that loses, you double the original bet and add 5. The winning bet you take the earnings, and put the original 5 back up and go again. It see-saws back and forth and most tables allow for eight progressions or a max bet of 2555. Before you peel off and start imagining, I also blend in a progressive field bet of 5 progressive. So if you win, keep up the winning bet, if you loose, double the loosing bet and add 5 much the same way as the pass no pass progressive bets.

So, there you go. I did this religiously on the wiz's practice table and it seems to work...but then again I've gone to the table and got blown out in a matter of minutes as I really feel that rhythm rolling is for real. I tried betting the big red progressively starting at a buck and got slaughtered. LOL. So much for 7!

and what happens when a 12 is rolled on the come out? You can not overcome the edge that the 12 gives the house.

You just described a Martingale with a plus 5

The Martingale is you double your bet after each loss

Your system is double after loss while adding 5 more

Look up Martingale discussions on Google and you should quickly understand this is a recipe for disaster

You will make small amounts of money for awhile. And then get blown out very quickly

Imagine winning a profit of 10 or 20 bucks over and over again over the course of several hours or even ssssions or days

You have won 1500 or 2000 after 3 days. And then in 12 double ups lose everything. Thats usually the result

Hopefully at some point in the future you will look back on these two sentences and realize how little you understood when you started playing craps.

Are you aware what the term 'house edge' means? What is the house edge on 'big red'?

Yup, I get it. The field picks up a double (at least the tables I play) with a come out twelve. Would it overcome if it were triple? I dunno? That's why I am asking these math wizards for the odds. These bets get crazy big fast...or they can. The wizard states that you should look for a table that pays triple on the field for either the two or the twelve. At the Mohegan Sun, they only pay double.

Rhythm rolling is arranging the dice and throwing in a certain manner to achieve an desired outcome. That's what most of the people at the tables I screw around with call it. They always ask a new e you a Rhythm roller?

I'm familiar with house edge or odds, I suppose. According to the wizard, the big red is pretty bad. But, I figured it is inevitable, so my idea was that if a body progressively bid again and again, enough to cover your loss and stay ahead of the curve, eventually, and it always does, a seven will come up. At a dollar initial bet, I can go 20 rolls before the bet is too big for the table. I was doing great until some dude rolled 24 times. LOL. UGH.

I made a Wincraps auto-bet file for this exact SYSTEM of play on 11/16/2013
I suggest you search for it. should be out there.
It is a complete failure SYSTEM (as in trying to double a starting bankroll. Better off to just Lay the 4 and the 10 at random when a pretty female walks by the table)
because no one knows what to do with the busted progression of a 12 on the comeout roll.

Hey! I'm really starting to think that I just have a case of really bad luck. So I guess if you can drink an equal amount that you give the table and have a little fun, no harm no foul. I'm starting to get it...I think. So what do you people do? The tried and true pass line, get a point, put bets, hope for the best? Arg. There has to be a better way!

no there does not have to be a better way.

make 1 million lifetime bets (get a group together a pool your cash)
the ones that have the BEST chance of still showing a profit are the line bettors with high odds.

the place bettors have all fallen away as losers, as well as all the Marty bettors.
even all the so called dice controllers/rhythm rollers are all lifetime losers over 1 million bets made and resolved.
many will just LIE and say they win, but they all die just as a slot player will in the end.

play Craps to have fun and socialize and enjoy the ride
IF that makes you FEEL good

if you lose money no one cares

just have fun
if you really think you can turn a craps table into your personal atm, then start thinking like the casino

I liked MoSun when I lived in New England. Right off the freeway and the casinos are large enough to get lost. And the craps pits were easy to get to, even the one high limit table they had back in 2008.

Yup! Saw some guy actually hit it big like 7 months ago. Fire bet, lol. The Wizard actually cringes when he hears that! MGM opened a casino up much to the chagrin of the Indian Tribes up a bit north in Springfield. Boy, if they could still scalp people, lol. You are right though. It's tiny compared to the Mo Sun. I was down on the strip in Atlantic city and there too, I expected more. I'm pretty spoiled up here. We have free parking, too. I guess the tribes are pretty generous except the 12 not paying triple on the field bet! Ha ha ha. Yup, if fate brings you out this way, give me a shout. It'd be cool. Happy New Year!
