Hello, I'm about to say something which might be stupid/wrong/funny:
On Wikipedia, the page explaining odds for 5 card poker gives a full house, odds of 693:1.
Just to be clear, a full house consists of a pair, alongside 3 of a kind. (Pair + three of kind)
I'm curious to know the approximate (or exact) odds of:
Pair + flush
Pair + straight
Pair + straight flush.
Five cards in the hand each time.
Many thanks for reading.

You have a 0% chance of having a pair with a flush or a straight using a single deck with a 5 card hand.

I think the original poster means, what is the chance of getting:
(a) a pair and 3 to a flush
(b) a pair and 3 to a straight
(c) a pair and 3 to a straight flush
I get:
Pair and 3 to a flush: 75,624 / 2,598,960 = about 1 / 34.37
Pair and 3 to a straight: 45,072 / 2,598,960 = about 1 / 57.66
Pair and 3 to a straight flush: 3312 / 2,598,960 = about 1 / 784.71
Note that a pair & straight flush is not also counted as pair & straight or pair & flush

But since he felt the need to explain what a FH consists of, I think Prozema had the right answer: 0%.

The Don guys inference is correct.
Five card poker with just 5 cards.
From time to time whilst dealing five card poker, a hand comes out where the player has a pair and the remaining 3 cards make a straight, or a flush.
Just curious.

He's talking about hands like these:
2♠️ 2♥️ 6♣️ 7♣️ 8♣️
5♦️ 5♠️ 9♥️ 10♦️ J♠️
4♥️ 4♠️ 2♦️ 7♦️ K♦️

He'll have to let us know if those are included. I mean, really, a royal flush is just an ace high straight flush with a special name. There's no special name for the nut full house AAAKK, so why have one for a straight flush?

I stand corrected. I'm curious though... What is the value of this information? It seems like the draws to the stronger hand would be a more useful data point.
