Quote: Wingsfan40New to WoV and really hoping someone here can help! Does anybody know the Bad Beat odds when the qualifier is quads over quads only and both players must have pocket pairs? The bigger question is does anyone know a different qualifier that presents similar odds ie. quad 10s or better losing to a straight flush or better? Thanks in advance!!
I'm guessing you're trying to hit that million dollar JP at MotorCity. Read this page for various bad beat odds.

As I understand a bad beat jackpot just having your card inserted in some "playing for blinds" game will qualify you for something, so anyone near Detroit probably should consider this.
Everyone is aware there were major lotteries recently. Might as well sit there playing poker at better odds than one in fifty million.

The quads over quads BB has been hit at MotorCity. I don't know what day, but it's down to a paltry $497,000.

So what did it get to when it hit?
I find it kind of funny, I've played about 10 hours of cash games lifetime, but about a year ago I went all-in on quad 3s and was beaten by quad 6s on the river (thought the other guy had a FH, 6s over 3s). So I had the hand, but the casino didn't have the BB sidepot. Lots of oohs and aahs on the showdown, though. I did appreciate the Commiserations from the rest of the table.
Probably the one time in my life I get that type hand, right? Ah ,well.

My most notable was getting AA 3 consecutive times. They don't have odds for that, but 3 times in an orbit is .0008%.
I'd prefer a BBJP. I've had table shares twice in California. One was SF vs SF in Omaha8. The jackpot was 39k and the guy who won the big share went to the ATM. He went broke on the hand and wanted to keep playing while waiting for his $15k.
I beat AAATT with TTTT once, which would qualify me for the second place share at some CA casinos, but was playing in Nevada, with no jackpot.
I've only seen quads or better lose in hold em once. 9999 lost to AAAA on the river. No jackpot.

I don't know. I was talking about to to a friend when I went to their site and noticed it dropped. It doesn't say when it did though.

I've been involved in one and I had the winning hand. At the time the qualifications were AAATT or better beaten by quads or better with both HC's having to play. I held AT on a AAA75 board and beat another guys pocket JJ. A third player in the hand held 88.
