Hi, I know systems are doomed over the long run but I enjoy playing for streaks in blackjack. I'm wondering how many times on average would a player win 3 times in a row using perfect basic strategy in 100 hands....also how about 2 times in a row. Thanks, Asfufh

The chances of winning any given hand are 44/100. The dealer wins 48% of the time, and the remaining 8% of the hands are pushes.
So the chances of winning two in a row are 44/100*44/100, three in a row, 44/100*44/100*44/100, etc.
The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one. The happiness of credulity is a cheap and dangerous quality.---George Bernard Shaw

using the above post formula (including ties) comes out to
on average per 100 hands:
exactly 2 hands in a row per 100 hands:6.07
exactly 3 hands in a row per 100 hands:2.67
exactly 4 hands in a row per 100 hands:1.18
streaks of:
2 or more:10.8
3 or more:4.8
4 or more:2.1
