I have followed the wizard of odds for years. And I own his video poker app. He Has been so generous in sharing his gifts. Thank you Michael. Here's my question. I can play the following 3 video poker games between 99.95 and 99.99 accuracy over five thousand hands of each: jacks or better 9/6; DDB 9/6 and NSUD. I'm wondering Wizard what percentage of the video poker populous plays at those levels in those games? Or put another way, my spouse wonders whether the hours I've invested make me any better than the average video poker player of those games?

Again. Thank you Wizard. I've gotten 3 others to purchase your app so I'm trying to do my part to repay the wisdom you've shared.

I would estimate you are in the 98th percentile of video poker players.

But what's your speed (HPH)? And can you do that in a live casino @ at least 800 HPH (especially for hours at a time)? If so, you would certainly be in the top. Even the best players can and do make mistakes after a few hours of play.

That sounds encouraging. Thanks for your thoughts. Perhaps the spouse will be less aggrieved upon learning that. Although regardless, it will probably be followed by a sarcastic comment. :)

Probably not 800 per hour in the casino. And if I'm playing multi-line it's probably like 2500 (500 x 5). there are occasionally hands where I have to do a mental inventory check regarding the penalty rules and then, and this is a guilty pleasure and/or severe masochism, but when I get a good dealt hand (say 4 to the Royal) I like putting the machine on its slowest speed and watching events unfold.
