If I knew that the 1st Card that I would be dealt in TCP was an Ace or King: What advantage would I gain?

The following scenario may or may not have occurred:

A Card Marker has marked Aces and Kings: Sits at Box 1 and as the Shuffler is loaded with the 2nd deck: It delivers the 1st set of Cards for the next hand, therefore exposing the Top card: face down obviously.

It is a genuine question. the Wizard covers 1st Card knowledge of the Dealers hand, this scenario may have the same affect on probability, however I am not clever enough to compute.

Any and All help is appreiciated.

Nobody is dealing this way. Just more propaganda to drum up business.

The casino's are foolish enough to fall for all the bs.Ceasars in AC washes the cards between every round on all of their carnival and single deck games. They waste so much time. They have been doing this for about 2-3 years now.

I have to admit, that was my first thought when I read this as well. Edge sorting is easily defeated anyway. I guess card marking is a legitimate concern, but if that is a problem, 3CP should be the least of their concerns.

From my article:

"Although my focus was on edge sorting, any other mark, whether environmental or intentional, could give away information about the top card. Cheats and advantage players alike had the dual luxuries of time and opportunity."

The OP is clearly interested in cheats.

A card marker who marks all the Aces and Kings will have about a 43.4% edge over the house on 15.4% of his hands.

I agree it is pretty easy for casinos to prottect themselves against edge sorting and top carding FOR THE FIRST PLAYER.
How about top carding the dealers hand? If the marks are clear enough (the A-symmetries or other imperfections if we are talking AP here), can the players identify the dealer top card?

That in combination with a weak hole card dealer should give this game a HUGE player edge no?

What am I missing?

The thing you guys are missing is, I would be willing to bet if you went to each of the 16 Casinos in Arizona that have table games and asked the Table Games Manager "How prevalent do you think edge sorting is", more than half would say "What is edge sorting".

I would venture to say it's the same percentage in every State for Indian Gaming. Indian Gaming is not Las Vegas or Atlantic City. There is a HUGE difference in quality between the top Las Vegas Table Games people and your run of the mill Tribal Table Games Manager (or GM or Slot Director, etc).
