What if a guy did continuous Pass/Come bets with $1 odds and $5 Flat, but the odds got paid DOUBLE no matter what the number? Does this give the player a positive advantage? My math says yes. But pretty small.

Let's look at 36 rolls. 36 x $5 = $180, $180 + $24 = $204 of action. I'll get back $80 on come out winners, then $26 for 4/10 total, $41.6 for 5/9 total, and $59.09 for 6/8 total. 80+26+41.6+59.09 = $206.69 returned for every $204 in action. So would that be $2.69/36 decisions or per 36 rolls? By some estimates I'm guessing $8 profit per hour. However, what about all the multiple decision rolls, like wiping 5 come bets, or establishing a new point, where it already has a comebet. Would this increase the decisions per hour? I'm also using 108 rolls per hour as a measuring stick.

what casino would pay more than fair odds?
the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!”   She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder

arent there enough questions about the games that already exist?
do we have to ask questions about fantasy games as well?
no offense, but it is sort of silly

The casino would have to be crazy to pay 2:1 on the 6 and 8, even if it's for a buck. I have read on here that there are a very casinos around that do this for the dealer bets, but that's about it.

As far as the OP is concerned...
Would a match-play coupon qualify for the "Double Odds" ? I don't think match play is allowed on Free odds bets, but maybe some promotion allows a $1 match play on the Free Odds.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

Yes I realize it sounds silly. I wanted it to quite frankly, because if nobody believes me that this is actually possible, then I can exploit the loophole, without the floodgates opening to this particular casino and them changing their policy. I'm not entirely sure if they pay like this. I will soon find out. Management either doesn't realize this kind of payout is good for the player, or they don't care if a couple people actually MAKE money, OR they believe people that exploit won't be able to help themselves making HE bets, and just give it back. Time will tell.

I earlier replied saying that I thought it was fine that you were going to make 3 dollar bets to get the rounded up payment. That move is less obvious and you can easily get away with. This one is so blatant, who takes $1 odds on a 5 dollar bet? It will be a red flag and they will watch your play carefully, that is if they even round up.

EXACTLY, which is why it baffles me so much. As far as I know, they've been doing this for at least a couple years, so in that time, how has there not been a few people that just drop a buck because it's all they have left, and win? How is it, that NOBODY else has figured out this loophole and exploited it. My only explanation is that perhaps, all the dealers, boxes, and floors aren't savvy on the math, because on the face of it, getting paid double on just a $1 doesn't seem advantageous. So either NOBODY does it, the personnel haven't figured it out, or the casino simply doesn't care.

I won't hit the casino hard with this style right away, I'm going to ease into it and see what happens.

Since it only works for your dollar bet, and is of no additional value when the point is 4 or 10, you won't be breaking the bank when you take advantage of the casino. There is no way to 'hit the casino hard' at these low betting amounts. That being said, you should be able to make something approaching minimum wage using the 'round ups'.

Certainly. I just mean "hitting em hard" as in immediately betting this way for several hours. I figure 4-6 hours per trip is what's needed to make anything worthwhile. I would want to filter in the bets slowly, just to see if anything is said about it.
