Who's got the nicest rooms on the Strip? I'm not talking about penthouse suites for the high rollers; I'm talking about standard rooms. Criteria would include furnishings, decor, technology, bathrooms, and of course room size.

I don't see Caesar's on the list. Is it not an option? The rooms are very large, and the bathrooms quite nice, with separate shower/tubs, some with whirlpools. My wife prefers WynnCore, as she thinks they have the most comfortable beds. The rooms are not as large though.

NONE of the Caesars properties are included....Quote: AyecarumbaI don't see Caesar's on the list.
I've never stayed at any of the hotels listed, so I didn't vote.
I invented a few casino games. Info:

The problem with Caesars Palace is 3 towers are nice, but if you get the Roman or Centurion, you are getting old rooms that have not been touched since the 70's or 80's. Many of the CET hotels are the same, so its buyer beware.

I picked Wynn. Aria is nice and I like the decor better than Wynn but the high tech lighting system at Aria is annoying. It shouldn't take a computer to turn lights on and off. Also when I was at Aria it was less then a year old and the bathroom fixtures were already noticably deteriorated.

I've only stayed at the Aria and MGM Signature, and based on amenities the Signature wins. Based on "cush" factor, Aria wins.
I'm partial to rooms with kitchenettes because I like stocking up at the grocery store immediately after leaving the rental car checkout at McCarran. I don't drink, so it benefits me to have some sodas on hand that I can take with me into the casino because the cocktail waitress soft drinks are about 1 gulp size..

As Caesar himself would say, "Mea Culpa". You're right. I should have included Caesars. It was difficult creating this poll, because I had to remove several worthwhile contenders (Mirage & Planet Hollywood come to mind) and I had to lump together Venetian with Palazzo, Mandalay Bay with THEhotel, Wynn with Encore, and MGM Grand with Signature just to make room for everyone.
In retrospect, I should have removed Trump since it isn't even on the Strip. (Arguably the same could apply to Vdara.)
In my defense, Caesars offerings are very inconsistent: they have a couple older towers with some small rooms that just aren't in the same league as Palazzo or Encore.

Of the list I've stayed at Encore, Ven/Lazzo, and Sig. I picked Ven/Lazzo.

I've stayed in just about every hotel on the strip. It's really tough to beat the terraced rooms of the Venetian/Palazzo. The colors, the view, the beds, the TVs. Basically every room is a suite.

I agree that computer thing drove me crazy

I've stayed in quite a few properties and I love the Signature. My sister was there recently and they have taken away the bottled water from the gym (nice feature -- grab a bunch when you're working out) and replaced it with a dispenser. But I think it's great for check in and check out -- never an issue -- and it's quiet. People complain that it's too far to get to the MGM with the moving walkways and all, and I can see that this would be an issue for a person who is physically incapable of doing so, but feel blessed that you can walk that far or run!

>Who's got the nicest rooms on the Strip?
I'm tempted to think that whoever is offering me a free room has a pretty nice one.
>I'm talking about standard rooms.
Yeah, we can leave out the room with its own private basketball court or bowling lane, but "standard" depends on usage too. Some people love to discover their own microwave or mini-refrigerator upon checking into a hotel room. Others enjoy things like fancy showers or bidets. Mattresses and thread-counts rate high with some. Room size? Layout seems a bit more important. I don't particularly care how large the closet is. I prefer the hair dryer be a wall unit but if its in a bag in the closet that's okay, just a bit annoying.
> Criteria would include furnishings, decor, technology, bathrooms, and of course room size.
Cleanliness tops the list. Furnishings that have nicks or scratches don't bother me.
A refrigerator is nice, one that is already "on" is even nicer.
