Nice stories about the Sahara

Good stuff, some great shots of Vegas in the 50's and 60's. Rickles is one of a kind. He has a razor sharp memory and he wrote a book a few years ago and I was very disappointed. He has more Sinatra stories than any living person and there was nothing new in the book. I love Sinatra, I'll bet I have 30 books about him. C'mon Don, give us some good Sinatra stuff..

I just watched some youtube of Rickles on the Tonight Show. He was hosting in 1975 and as a surprise, out comes Bob Hope. Lots of applause. Out comes Bing Crosby, lots of applause. Out comes John Wayne. The audience jumps to its feet in thunderous applause! What does that tell you about who was who in this country in the 70's.

Whenever I think of Don Rickles I remember his zinger to Frank Sinatra . "Make yourself at home Frank. Hit somebody"
For whatever reason that's the one of many I remember.
