Heading with a group of friends to Vegas in a month & staying at this hotel (buddy got extra cheap rooms through work).

Is the Casino any good? We're mostly lower end bj & craps players. One guy loves slots.

Any other tips on this place?

Easy to get to better places if we don't like the vibe?

What's nearby?

Thanks.

I went there last week, had a great time. I spent most of my time playing $10 BJ switch, and did order a cosmopolitan at the cosmopolitan!

Pools, day clubs, night clubs, lots of nooks and crannies, "hidden pizza" (no signage, no publicity), upscale bartenders, ... still working the kinks out of rooms and special events. Yuppie crowd. Young, well dressed.

I didn't care for the casino on a recent Saturday night. LOUD!! dance music from clubs and D.J.'s at different venues clashing. $15 minimum craps 3-4-5 odds. The casino is an odd shape, like a long rectangle.

It is easy to get to other places, but wear comfortable shoes, as the walks can be more of a shuffle if there is a large crowd.

It is right next door to Bellagio, and part of City Center, so Aria, and the shuttle to Monte Carlo are nearby. On the other side of the strip, are Planet Hollywood, and Paris. Bally's is north of Paris, and MGM is south of PH.
