Just got these offers within a day of each other, and we're planning a trip in January. As much as we enjoyed Bellagio the last time we were there, sixty bucks is sixty bucks, times 4 nights, times 2 rooms. Plus resort fees of course.
Is Bellagio $60/night better than Mirage?

No. And that would have been the end of my post except I have to post a minimum of 5 characters.

It ain't 2.67x better than the Mirage.
Mirage is actually very good.

Yeah, stay at Mirage. A trip to Las Vegas is much more fun & satisfying when you can score a bargain.

I would go to the Mirage. Bellagio is just a short walk away and the basic rooms are not amazing, can be quite a hike from the casino.

Yep, that's kind of my thought, too. there might be differences, but in the end it's all just a place to park your butt at night.

I think Mirage is your best bet...but then what do I know?

I would totally take Mirage at that price. Better gaming than Bellagio, IMO, several great restaurants, closer and more central to other Strip properties. I also really like the rainforest better than the conservatory. Specifically enjoyed their Tom C. restaurant a couple of times (just off the casino floor in the rainforest) and their 24 hour deli is good, with HUGE portions (look out - chances are any entrée or sandwich is enough for 2 people).
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

If it was the Aria for $99, I'd recommend that over the Mirage.
But since it's the Bellagio, and their standard rooms are a little dated and nothing special I'd definitely save the $60 per night and go for the Mirage.

Son of a gun, the week we want to go is the week of the CES. No such thing as a cheap room. Oh, well.

Depends on what you are trying to do. If you are just trying to get the best bang for the buck, I would take Mirage. However, when I go to Vegas, I tend to try to get the nicest room I can afford depending on my offers. There is nowhere else I can stay at a 5 star resort for $99/night.
