i am thinking of renting a ~12 seater van to drive to vegas. anyone have any reccomendations on what company to use? it will be for 3 days if this matters and the drive is ~300 miles.

Those might be hard to get. Only advice is to plan early since they are a "specialty" rental and no every place will have them. You might want to consider just renting 2 seven passenger minivans.

Most places that rent vans rent CARGO vans, not for passengers. Be sure the rental company knows what you want and that you will be leaving California with them, even for only three days.

Good point on crossong state lines. I rented from someone in Rochester and they said their vehicles "called in" if you did so, a problem up there as many people wanted to take them to Canada or PA.

National has 7 person vehicles for $1800 for a week. Call ahead for a larger van.

enerprise said 400 for what i mentioned- and standard they said u can go to nevada and one more state no extra ins
hertz wanted like 7 something.
sucks when they arent open on sunday or a return... they charge u for the day.. i think thats not fair.
