Video from Bloomberg regarding Zappos founder Tony Hsie's plans to create a new "Silicon Valley" in downtown Vegas. I know that the old City Hall has been overtaken by Zappos and they are the marquee sponsor for the marathon. It looks like they are commtted to southern Nevada.

The only thing more pathetic than watching a gambler who's afraid to lose is watching a gambler who is afraid to win. And I've seen plenty of both.
