Word has it that all video poker and video keno machines have been converted from random games of chance to the same technical standards of randomization as the slot machine. Is this true? If it is it would certainly explain a lot of things.

"random games of chance" and "same technical standards of randomization as the slot machine" mean the same thing. The RNG used in VP and slot games by the same vendor is the same, with the caveat that you're talking about class III games and not central-determinant/VLT-style games.

The technical standard for most states and Indian jurisdictions dictate that each card is drawn with the same likelihood. In keno, each of the 80 spots has the same chance of being drawn as well. Exceptions are as stated by ME. Where do you play?
