Hi there Mr. Wizard (of V)! Obviously, like everyone else I have found the site very very helpful in a variety of ways for a number of years. No one could even argue against it being hands done the most objective and constructive gambling site in existence. I am very grateful to you for that as well as probably at least a few million people at this point.
(Note: I apologize for my babbling in advance. Also, feel free to cut this up to into a more workable series of Q&A for the forum, so long as I can get the specific data answers, lol)
I will get straight to the series of related questions / requests first and explain myself after that and I hope its simple enough for you to fulfill.
Q: After reviewing a lot of your data based on runs of 1,2,3 or more etc., whether it be Player or Banker (preferably both), i want to compare it to your 250k simulated shoes as well as those two 1000 6 & 8 deck shoes. But to do it myself would take me an eternity, and I am taking a break from 20+ hrs of this futile effort with my average brain to write to you about it to so I can stop hurting my head. So thats why I'm asking for assistance instead of spending a good 300+ hours of my life on it. You could already have it at your finger tips and a few clicks, which would be beyond amazing for me.
Q: How many times in those 250k simulated shoes did each of the runs occur for both player and banker? Including Singles, Doubles, triples, etc. all the way to at least 10+ runs for either / both Player and Banker, or as far as your program(s) have the answers for? How many actual times. Not percentages.
Q: I don't know but the stats you have previously provided, did they come from these same simulations? Or were those based on other calculations of other types of simulations you ran prior to these simulations? or some other chart / graph / data set? Was any of it provided to you from an outside source? Or was it you who ran the simulations utilizing the Mersenne Twister & Fisher-Yates Shuffle?
REQUEST: If you have the ability can I please have it either personally or posted to the forum? Not the percentage but in actuality...How many actual Player Singles, doubles, trips, 4, 5, 6, etc.. all the way to the end (or putting anything 10 or more into one category) actually occurred. Same for Banker please. How many singles, doubles, trips, etc…actually occurred in all these simulations? (This is very important to my own semi-moronic research)
Personal stuff: (if any of this is not appropriate in some way or not safe, etc., please remove it)
I have honestly had a long stretch of consistent success at baccarat, absorbing losses of all sizes along with wins of all sizes, playing 10-15, sometimes 20 shoes a week / 40 to 50 a month, usually only the first half of shoes until i reach certain unit goals in mind, documenting everything as best I can, and then going back and reviewing the live game data from both online and B&M casinos I'm in no way an expert at anything but I feel I have a better than average sense of the game after 5+ years of studying it and playing it as a mere mortal. I certainly could be lucky and believe that it just maybe that I'm walking into more shoes than not that that line up right for my way of decision making regarding the flow or direction of shoes (what have you) or best use of data and stats available based on your and my own research.
I don't know Mr. Shackleford but this question has been gnawing away at me for an extremely long time. I DO KNOW that you would have the answer. Yes I have many many many shoes, but I feel my data is tainted in the sense that most of it is not full shoes. Maybe 25% of it is full shoes. 75% of it is under 50 shoes. 50% is under 50. and probably 30% of it is under 30 shoes. So its hard to consider it a legitimate data set in my mind. I use it a lot of course, and I refer back to it a lot. I have gotten better over the years of processing it (manually btw which is the pits). But I'm not convinced I can fully trust it, regardless of my previous consistent success. Again, this question is just eating me up and I would be eternally grateful for the exact stats and how close they are to your other charts I have reviewed.
Thank you very much in advance for your patience and assistance in this matter.

Those charts helped a lot 7 Craps. Very much appreciate it. I have more questions for you and the gang, looking for fresh takes on these subjects.
QUESTION for the group: Based on what I've been reading here, does anyone even still play baccarat? I ask b/c I have read many of the posts and this idea of sitting down hoping to walk into a situation and "inherit" money from a shoe does make a lot of sense (and I can't remember who posted that but kudos to you and good analogy).
Up to this point I have chosen to look at it more like "investing" / daytrading. You have approximately a 50 / 50 shot of profiting from a 60 second investment. I have had a lot more success than failure and I absorb them. I would def consider myself an advanced player, still learning, but def A-P. Most of the things that make some sense I have figured out on my own that I now see many people have written books about, like the Tambone guy, and others.
QUESTION: Using other analogies posted here, its like the 1% of the 1% who are successful like professional athletes but how much of that is really luck in the case of baccarat (or timing) and how much of that is more of decision based methodology?
QUESTION: If you try and combine a lot of ideas of percentages of success with banker and also following certain trends, or patterns (w/e) and its more successful than not successful, and you are walking away with profit on a legitimately consistent basis, does that not mean that person(s) has some idea in what they are doing? I'm only asking and I really appreciate and respect all other people's (fresh) thoughts.
POKER QUESTION: Should everyone just play poker? Put in 80-120 hrs a week getting good at that game? Its crazy b/c no matter how well you play that game, like any other, if you don't have the cards, and are not getting the cards, then you will mostly and ultimately lose money playing that game as well.
BLACKJACK QUESTION: Same thing, I supposed I could work very very hard at getting good to pretty good at B-J, but how much of a percent advantage do you actually get and all the other variables of making mistakes or being at a table where other people can screw you up. It seems just as treacherous to me as all the other games.
ONLINE COMPUTER BACCARAT: Where and how are people utilizing computers / computer programs to play bac? Or any other game for that matter?
***I spend a lot of time in Vegas, and I'm the kind of guy who will most definitely put his money where his mouth is. This is not a challenge, but I'm serious about finding who these pro players are, and serious about finding anyone who is truly successful that consistently plays. I don't use super large bank rolls. I actually purposely avoid RFB's and I never give or ask for a player's card and when they bother me I tell them nicely to buzz off b/c I don't want them to know who I am.
FEED BACK REQUEST QUESTION: I know I'm a success thus far (key words) but I want to know how much and how realistic is to continue? b/c then I'd consider switching full time to something else b/c I'm not going back to work a 9-5 anymore. I'm just not. I have had multiple months where I have pulled down well over 30k. I have had months where I have lost 5-10k, and my action is typically like 12-15k in an hour, which I have been looking to tweak and reduce closer to flat betting but not quite there yet. When I first started 5yrs ago I did martingale like crazy b/c I didn't know anything about anything, I was up 34-ish K and I did get bit hard and lost about 32k in a month b/c I had zero discipline (I did actually lose it in a period of a week / 3 separate days) but It was all the houses money and not my own (luckily for sure) and from there I started to learn and make adjustments and came to many of the trend analysis / pattern analysis, and statistical probability stuff that most people come to. Its just crazy to me personally that its just pure luck to have this kind of decent amount of success.
I'd honestly love to hear from you guys (& gals) and your stories.

I'd honestly love to hear from you guys (& gals) and your stories.

Hey Teliot! I've seen many of your posts on this forum and I appreciate them. I check out that link and it was funny b/c 95% of everything stated by the site I figured out organically. I also had some question looking for fresh answers from you IF / WHEN you have the time.
