Many thanks to all who respond!
You tuck them and say, "21!!!" and hope they pay you (-;Quote: blxbjackI watched Mike Shakleford's excellent video on how to play a pitched game of blackjack ("Black Jack Rules III A Pitch Game YouTube"), but it is not clear what you are supposed to do when you bust. Do you toss your cards down face-up? Do you toss them face-down, and verbally say, "I bust"? Do you tuck them under the chips, just as you would if you don't want another hit but hadn't otherwise busted, and say nothing, but just wait for the dealer to find it?
Many thanks to all who respond!
If that's not your thing, just turn them over face up.
Quote: EdpokernutWhat happens if a player continuously takes another card after he has already busted? Would he be asked to leave the game?
Edpokernut,
Yes, especially if the player is obviously attempting to hit a busted hand.
Dog Hand
As to hitting after you already bust, I've never once seen that happen deliberately. I think a first offense would go over with a warning if it seemed due to miscounting.

most times I think an Ace in the hand or hit card (God forbid there are 2 Aces)
throws the player into La_La Land... especially when drinking alcohol type drinks.
When I dealt 21 last century, it was an alert call to floor when a player hit an already busted hand.
Let the suit 'deal' with it.
We were taught in pitch games, if we noticed the player struggling with their 2 cards and/or the 1st hit card, we ask the player to see their cards and help them with their total value right there.
Remember, it also gets 'under the skin' of other players at the table and many might try to help 'count'.
The Dealer needs to control these type of situations and be ready for them.
they happen
Quote: NathanIf you bust, don't you just say something like,"All right,I lost all my money, bye" and leave the table?
They're referring to when you card total exceeds 21. They're not talking about when you lose all your money.

Thanks RS! :D For some reason, I thought bust meant you went bankrupt/lost your entire bankroll.
