I was playing the Aruze version of the Big Six wheel and noticed that the $2 bet was $3 instead. I started to place equal wagers on both the $1 and $3 every time thinking that now I would have just over a 70% chance of either a net push (lands on $1) or a net win (lands on $3). Am I missing something here? The only odds I can find are on individual bets, are there other combinations of bets that would have a stronger net return or is it best to focus on the individual number with the highest odds?

you should consider all the possible outcomes and decide if it is fun for you to play that way.Quote: ReverendJakeAm I missing something here?
26/54 to net 0
13/54 to net 2
15/54 to net -2
that is an expected value of about -0.074074074 (after the math is done) per spin per bets
divide that by the bet (2) and you have the house edge of 0.037037037

the 12 and 25 would give more variance and a thrill for the same house edge
I say play to have fun and you could walk away a winner!
I have yet to play that game

Thanks Sally!
Makes total sense when you lay it out. I’m usually at the blackjack table but it’s nice to have other things to keep it interesting!
