The question for your poll is what is your response to the column (multiple votes allowed)?
With regards to the hundred roll craps bonus..... I can imagine making a huge hedge bet after my 98th roll!
Someone should do the math on the 100 roll promo using some of our resident DI's SRR numbers and then ask them why they are not playing it.Quote: SOOPOOI like it. you answer a bunch of straightforward math gambling related questions. Wayback when it was these kind of questions that drew me to your site.

Quote: WizardI invite my readers to let me know if there is a worse set of blackjack rules out there somewhere.
I have seen a 'zero exposure' blackjack game, where you could only hit or stand without seeing any card the dealer had. This was a charity game, so once you bought in you couldn't cash out anyway (but could earn chips to buy gift baskets) (no splits, doubles, and blackjack pays even money (and probably push if dealer draws to 21) but that's almost immaterial)
I have thought about what could be done to make that a worthwhile casino game. Perhaps any 21 pays three to one?
Quote: beachbumbabsI wanted more q and a, but I liked what you did provide. Fwiw, your first answer was redundant, .Starting and ending with "assuming 6 decks".
Thanks, good catch.
On another topic, aren't there any other middle-aged men on the forum who will never forget the movie Life Force?
No doubling, no splits.Dealer hit all 17s, BJ paid even money.
The catch was it was kind of like a mini tournament.
Everyone put up an equal amount. Let's say $25.
The table rotates who goes first. Beat or push the dealer and you move on. Lose and you are out. Last man standing wins the pot minus 5% house rake. I saw games last one hand- dealer and one player both had BJ, and I saw them seemingly last forever. A dealer BJ that wipes out everyone restarts the game with those previously eliminated back in it.
A good streak- winning three games in a row pays off great and with the big payoff, you are never all that far from recovering from a bad streak.

I'm sure I've rolled the dice over 155 times, but I'm guessing that promotion is for rolling consecutively before a seven out.
As for Party Blackjack, I'm curious what the atmosphere in that party pit is like. Surely people aren't playing for the blackjack, so they must be playing for the other entertainment, such as dancing girls.

That's my Mathilda vote. Life Force was just broadcast locally a week or so ago, but on an over-the-air channel picked up by our cable company, so Mathilda was blurred out!

That's painful. Without Mathilda there is no point to watching the movie.

Typo, I assume.
Edit: Ooops, I'm late.

Me, for one. Thank God you've stopped doing eating challenges so I don't have to prove it, but I'm quite sure I can.
He didn't stop doing them(or why bring it up) he said he was thinking of doing something healthier and he was taking suggestions. I would bet pancakes are considerably healthier so I'm willing to bet the NO right now.Quote: beachbumbabsMe, for one. I agree that you should add "before a 7-out" to your response

Your poll says eat them, nothing about time limit. Eating them would be easy, fifteen minutes would be tough though.
I suspect it's just a matter or style, but I would remove the three "thens." They are not needed, as shown below.
Using the Hi-Lo count, I show that against a dealer 5 and blackjacks pay 6 to 5, if the true count is +18 or greater you should double on a blackjack.
Not that you asked, but if a blackjack paid 3 to 2 you would need to get to a count of +27 to double.

Yes, I forgot to mention the 15-minute-rule, which Dupar's imposes to get them free. More info at Golden Gate’s Du-par’s Serves Up Daunting Stackzilla Challenge. Mission offered to try it but I don't think he has any Vegas trips on his calendar.

My proofreader would agree with you. She also likes to take out my superfluous "then"s. However, when I'm trying to explain something carefully, I think they add structure. Plus, as somehow who does a lot of programming, I'm just used to the if/then/else structure of logic.
