And if they do then they would see whatever bias you would see, pretty much thing you are wasting your time
p.s. the minimum to confirm a bias is actually about 8,000 spins. You're not going to find a casino that stores that amount of information and certainly not one that will give it out to you. If you want that info you have to record them yourself.
Quote: MugarlinI don't know if you could find a bias in 800 spins (give or take) but this is welcomed info as I believed I had read they would gladly hand this kind of info over if asked, just didn't know for sure. As for what it would be used for.. just another (fail) progression system. In fact, it did not take too long (through wizard of odds million sim) to trash my dreams lol.. Back to the drawing board.. Cheers.
Quote:. For one, 800 spins is a worthless amount to confirm a bias.
No actually it's not. It depends on just how strong the bias is.
Quote:p.s. the minimum to confirm a bias is actually about 8,000 spins.
No, again it's actually not. It depends on just how defective the wheel is.
Well, because anything else, such as regression to the mean in a small sample size, is just crazy talk.Quote: MugarlinWhy does everyone keep saying "Bias".. As I said in my first reply... I am not looking for a wheel bias. Thanks again for all the replies though.
Quote: AyecarumbaSo do casinos monitor all the results for bias, test the equipment at some interval, or just replace it after a set amount of time? The wheel has to wear out and develop imperfections at some point. If management is not observing, how do they know the game hasn't developed exploitable vulnerabilities? Perhaps they only look if the hold goes down?
I think the mechanics perform some kind of test with a level on the wheel itself on a regular basis. If it failed, they would either try to fix it or replace it. I can say that at the Venetian I never saw any large sampling of roulette numbers because I don't think they existed.
I would assume games like organic roulette has keeps a significant amount of spin data, i'm doubtful they would provide that easily. The board itself keeps a much longer history list than a regular roulette board.
It even highlights the hot numbers and breaks down the percentages for everything.
